The Spinal Flow® Technique is a philosophy, a science, and an intuitive, hands-on approach that prompts our spine and nervous system to release stress and help heal itself. There is an innate intelligence inside every human body to grow, repair and heal itself. Just as our gut digests our food, our hair grows and our heart beats naturally, our bodies know how to harness this innate intelligence – or Life Force Energy – to heal and grow. The spine and nervous system is the pathway through which Life Force Energy flows. Unreleased stress creates a blockage in the spine which prevents the flow of Life Force Energy.By releasing stress stored in the spine, Spinal Flow helps restore the flow of healing Life Force Energy through every vertebrae in the spine and to every cell in the body.
Above is a clip of a session where you can visibly see Flow coming through the spine. Every session is unique to the individual and we fully trust your body and welcome any way it wants to show up.

My Journey
*Trigger/Content warning: talks about suicideMy late-spouse died by suicide in October of 2006. I will never know the full extent of it, but they had left a letter expressing that "the pain was unbearable." Even though they were loved by many, even though they had a beautiful relationship with their children and their children adored them, even though they had a lot going for them, the pain was just too much, so much so, that along with all the other things they had going on within them, created a momentum that pushed them to the breaking point of killing themselves. After their suicide, I didn’t really know what else to do except accept the fact and move on with life. I was 36 and my kids were 9 and 11. So, left as a single mother, I decided to put most of my attention on being the best mother for my kids that I knew how to be. And, that's what I did, and I honestly thought I was doing a pretty good job of it considering what our family had gone through.Fast forward to 15 years later... in early 2021, I find out that one of my children had been fighting the urge to kill themselves by suicide. They expressed that they didn't like themselves and that they didn't want to live anymore.I... cannot... express... how much that hurt to the core. Especially since I didn't see it coming (or maybe I didn't look), and I had thought (or told myself) all along that they were fine... actually, more than fine. I actually patted myself on the back a few times believing that we had a healthy relationship and that they were thriving in life. Instead, they were feeling an insufferable amount of internal pain. This was an absolute shock. I was devastated."The best thing you can do (for your child) is go on a healing journey and work on yourself," said a good friend of mine. I hated him for saying such a thing to me at first, but that ended up being the best advice anybody gave me. Thus began my healing/learning journey. Some big questions that I had:
What is this intolerable internal pain that one has that makes one decide that they no longer want to live, no longer want to exist? And, is there anything that can be done for it?Which led me to question what I believed about my own existence. Because if I can’t value and celebrate and love my own existence, then how can I convince someone else to do the same?In this learning journey, I've come to believe a few things:About pain:
If you are going through pain (internal/emotional or external/physical as they are often closely related)… you’re not alone and you are not imagining it, but there are ways to MOVE THROUGH it. Pain is a signal, like a check engine light, so it’s actually good news because it means that your body is functioning as it should. And, just like a check engine light, it also means that your body wants attention somewhere… and when we can give it attention where it needs it, the pain can shift. (This is one way that Spinal Flow helps... as FLOW comes through your spine, your body automatically brings attention to areas that need it).About healing:
It isn't about becoming anything, but rather, UNBECOMING the programming that's disconnecting us from our truth... less about overcoming and changing ourselves and more about coming home and remembering who we always have been. (In Spinal Flow, the client uses a practitioner's touch to help them find themselves... and all healing that happens, is self-healing. This empowers your own body to find itself and heal itself... and, yes, I believe your body is that amazing and powerful!)Over the past couple of years I personally got to heal in ways I never thought was possible, shifting my anxiety and pain, unwinding ways that my body held tension, releasing layers of emotions that were stuck, untangling and re-organizing patterns within my nervous system that were outdated and no longer served me. I still have the very human experiences of not feeling worthy, worry of people not liking me, wanting to hide/withdraw and all the other human things that can come up, but they come up less and they don’t overwhelm me the way they used to. There’s less fear. Less shame. More power. More compassion. More freedom. More living, with a deeper knowing, in my cells, of who I am.And, from the depths of experiencing this myself, comes a heart-felt desire to share what I can with others so that those who are seeking for relief and answers can also find it within themselves, too. I wasn’t sure before, but now I believe… healing is possible… for all of us.Spinal Flow is an offering from my heart to yours.
